The Masjid e Nabawi – The Constructed Mosque by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and His Companions in Madinah

The Prophet of Allah constructed the Mosque which named as a “Masjid e Nabawi”. And his companions were with him while constructing the mosque (Masjid e Nabwi). It constructed in Madinah when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). And his companions migrated to Madinah due to the problems arising in Makkah. It is the second most respected Mosque after Masjid al Haram in Makkah.

The mosque (Masjid e Nabawi) constructed two times in the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The first time shortly constructed after he had made the Hijra to Madinah in 622 CE, with the area of the mosque (Masjid e Nabawi) being almost 35*30 meters and the height was 2.5 meter.

It rebuilt after seven years later the Fath (opening) of Khyber. The expanding number of Muslims by then necessitated an expand in the area of the mosque (Masjid e Nabawi) to compensate more worshippers.
